Ronald Lamar Beck

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters: Rachel “Clo” Anderson, Carolyn West, Patricia Barber and nephew, Robert Leaman Alverado.

Mr. Beck graduated from New Hanover High School in 1964. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a Sergeant and worked for many years as a supervisor for the Timmie Corporation and Coastal Concrete Company.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Beck of the home;

sons: Ronald Beck II and wife, Sissy, Patrick Shane Beck and wife, Jennifer, Norman White Jr., Rodney White and wife Bobbie Lynn, Jayson VanVliet and wife, Donna , Eric VanVliet and wife Lauren, Ronald Casper and wife Wanda and dog “RB”; seventeen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, Tabatha VanVliet and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 6PM-8PM Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Coble Ward-Smith with Minister Eddie Reynolds officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn in the Mausoleum with full Military Honors. Online condolences may be made at www.coblewardsmithwilmington.com
