Ronald Jonathan Jon Rose

Ronald Johnathan Rose, age 18 died Thursday, September 4, 2008 Jon was born in Wilmington on July 4, 1990. He was a former student at Ashley High School and was a senior at New Hanover High School where he was in the ROTC program. Jon loved sports, going to the beach, music and playing guitar. Jon is survived by his father, Robert James Rose and wife Michelle Rose; and his mother, Rhonda Rose Williams and husband James Prince. Sisters, Brianna and Haley Rose, and Jamie Prince; brothers, Zackary Rose, and Cody Williams. His grandmother, ""Memaw"" Betty Thompson. Bobby Williams, who was like a father to him, Larry and Vickie Pridgen along with uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends including, Mike Harpster, Cleve Cardwell, Tyler Kempf, Buddy Pridgen, Jessica, and Brandon, John Beasley, and the CB Crew. Remembered is his brother, Jamie Rose who preceded him in death. Visitation for family and friends will be from 6 to 8 pm Monday at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel on S. College Rd. Memorial service will be held 6 to 8 Tuesday at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. A celebration of his life will be 12 noon Saturday, Sept., 13 at Hugh McRae Park. In lieu of flowers donations should be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.
