Sally Bett Willis Miller

Sally Bett was born on May 23, 1945 in Morehead City, NC to the late James Belmont Willis, Sr. and Cora Ward Willis.  Sally was preceded in death by her beloved brothers James Belmont Willis, Jr. and Barry Ward Willis.

Sally was a devoted follower of Christ who was well known for her great faith, her encouragement of others, and her free-flowing and contagious laughter.  She spent over 50 years sowing into the lives of others through her career as a nurse, most recently in Behavioral Health at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her four children, Monty Miller and his wife Stephanie; Wyndi Miller; Stacey Miller and his wife Montica; and Leslie Miller Hills and her husband Dave.  She leaves behind twelve grandchildren: Josh and Savannah, Jeremy, and Hannah-Grace Miller; Jadon Miller, Niklas, Jaxxon, Sofia, and Zakk Hills; Christian, Caleb, Joshua and Jacob Miller; and one great grandson, Ryder Miller.

The family will receive friends and family on Wednesday, May 30 from 6:00-8:00pm at Andrews Mortuary on College Road in Wilmington. 

A private memorial service and interment will be held in her hometown of Morehead City at a later date.
