Sandra Moore Bost

Sandra Moore Bost, 73, of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on Monday, December 24, 2018 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. She was born in Wilmington on February 20, 1945, the daughter of the late James Barner Moore and Annie Lou Barnett Moore. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Moore Ramsey, and granddaughter, McKenna Grace Bost. She is survived by her devoted husband of 52 years, Nat Bost; her son, Latty Bost and wife Allyson; her daughter, Tara Bost Denson and husband Andy; her sister, Pat Moore Brown and husband Wilbur; and grandsons, Connor Bost, Tanner Denson, and Cameron Bost. Sandra graduated from New Hanover High School, Class of 1963. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and enjoyed fulfilling careers in advertising with The Bost Agency and later owning and operating The Bridal Boutique. A memorial service to celebrate Sandra’s life will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lake Forest Baptist Church, 1626 Lake Branch Dr, Wilmington, with Latty Bost officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00pm, prior to the service, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or a charity of one’s choice.
