Sandra attended the Boston School for the Fine Arts early in her youth. She was a dedicated wife with a tenuous job of managing a household and children, but found time to work when she could as a marketing assistant for a small firm and in retail at Williams Sonoma.
Despite her dedicated schedule with family, friends and children, Sandra’s passion was creative hobbies in her spare time. She loved baking, decorating, gardening, painting and making keepsakes for people. Sandra loved the ocean, and thereby always longed to be by the beach hunting for shells and interesting pieces of drift wood that washed up along its shores. Sandra was a wife, mother and grandmother. She treasured her children and grandchildren an embraced every moment with them, wanting them always to experience as much as life had to offer.
She is survived by her loving husband Richard of 56 years; children: Lance (Barbi), Todd (Ereni), Gregg (Carly) and Keith (Amy); grandchildren: Ryan, Maddie, Anthony, Tucker, Tommy, Cece, Emma, Nick, and Matthew; great grandchildren: Aaron, Andrew, and Asher; and her siblings: Bob, Elaine, Pam, Jack, and Rick.
Sandra had the kindest personality that would draw in anyone upon meeting her, comforting them with her kindred spirit. Her bright light and soulful, loving warmth will be missed by all she touched during her lifetime.
Funeral Mass will be held from 12pm -1pm on December 3, 2021 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 209 South Lumina Ave, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480. Interment will follow at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
