Sara Nancy Rogers

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marion (Tinkey) E. Rogers and her siblings, George Gurganious, Gayther Gurganious, Toni Taylor, Jo Pridgen and Durema Latham.

Survivors include her daughter, Nancy Leonard (Marc); grandchildren, Nanci Morse, Chris Totherow and Jyl Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Linda Clarke, Matthew Clarke, Brayden Templeman, Mason Sullivan, Gavin Templeman, Colin Sullivan, Aliana Sullivan, Elisia Templeman, Jameson Templeman, Bobby Morse, Asher Morse and Kaydence Morse; sister, Brenda McAdams  (Jerry) and brother, Mike Gurganious. She loved to travel while working with missions. She was an amateur painter and full of life. In her younger years, she played basketball, bowled and golfed. She loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was not afraid or ashamed to say so or witness when the opportunity presented itself and she adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Monday, September 21, 2020, at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors one hour prior.

Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family would like to say a special thanks to the staff of Lower Cape Fear LifeCare for all of their support offered at a difficult time and to family and friends who called to check on mama and us.
