He is survived by his three daughters: Anastasia Campagnone and husband Greg of Syracuse, NY; Christina Hendricks and Stephanie Katerelos, both of Wilmington; grandchildren: Michael Campagnone of Liverpool, NY, Arianna Stirpe and husband Anthony of East Syracuse, NY and Sydney Hendricks of Wilmington; great-grandson, Mariano Stirpe of East Syracuse, NY; sister Ellie Gregoropoulos and husband Jim of Montreal, Canada and several nieces and nephews.
As a young adult, Spiros served in the Greek Army and later worked for the postal service in Greece.
Spiros fulfilled his dream of becoming a U.S. citizen in the 1950’s. With hard work and determination, he also accomplished his goal of becoming a business owner and operator throughout the years in NY, FL, and NC.
A private burial was held at Oleander Memorial Gardens.
