

Stacey is survived by his wife of 25 years, Angel Munden, daughter Alexandra (Alex) Munden, sons Zachary (Zach) Munden and Tyler Munden, sisters Angelea Wilburn and Lynn Leonard and his brother Robert (Rob) White. He will also be missed by his many cousins, nephews, and extended family members. He is also survived by his beloved dachshund Bella. His fight against cancer was inspiring to his family and friends, and even in his last days he didn’t allow his cancer to define him. His strength will motivate his friends and family for many years to come. Stacey was a loving father, husband, and friend to all.
Stacey loved cars and the automotive industry and worked as a tow truck operator for 20 years. He worked most recently for Wayne’s Towing until he was forced to give up the job he loved due to his illness. He enjoyed the beach and fishing and spent many a sunny day with a fishing pole in one hand, Corona in the other. He also enjoyed camping with the family, enjoying family dinners and car shows. He will be missed for his jokes, his unforgettable laugh, and his big heart.
A special thank you to the nurses, social workers and other care team members of the Lower Cape Fear Hospice in Wilmington for their loving care and support of Stacey and his family in his final days. Also thank you to the Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home for all the arrangements.
Visitation and memorial service are to be held at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home at 3915 Oleander Dr, Wilmington, NC 28403. Visitation will take place from 12:30-1:45 pm on Thursday April 20, 2017. The funeral service will begin promptly after at 2:00 pm. Stacey will be laid to rest at the Greenlawn Cemetery in Wilmington, NC.
