Dr. Stanley Howard Goloskov

Stan was the beloved husband of JW Goloskov, devoted father of Nikki Dalrymple and her husband, Peter Dalrymple, and proud grandfather of Ames Dalrymple, all of whom brought him immeasurable joy.

After a tour of duty as a Navy Dentist at the Philadelphia Naval Hospital, Stan began his private dental practice in Wilmington, Delaware. For more than 50 years, he enjoyed an exceptional career, creating beautiful smiles for generations of patients. His reputation for clinical excellence and compassion earned him the trust of hundreds of patients, including many fellow dentists who chose him as their own dentist. He generously donated his talents to underserved members of the community, believing that everyone deserved quality dental care. The relationships he built extended far beyond the dental chair, with many patients remaining lifelong friends.

Stan embraced life with enthusiasm and determination. An avid cyclist and dedicated Peloton member, he completed nearly 3,000 rides and proudly participated in several triathlons. Later in life, he discovered a love for golf and looked forward to relaxing afterward with a fine cigar and a good bourbon in the company of friends. Stan was fortunate enough to travel the world and appreciate the many diverse cultures that surround us.

After retiring from dentistry, Stan discovered a passion for cooking. He completed a year- long culinary course with a professional chef and became known among family and friends for creating savory meals and beautifully plated creations.

Stan will be remembered for his humor, unwavering optimism, warm smile, and kind words for everyone he met. He had a remarkable ability to make people feel welcomed and at ease, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Though he is no longer with us in body, his spirit lives on through the countless lives he touched, the friendships he cherished, and the memories he created. He will be remembered always with gratitude and a smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Kenan Chapel at Landfall, 510 Arboretum Drive, Wilmington, NC 28405.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks those wishing to honor Stan’s memory, to consider a donation to Tunnel to Towers at t2t.org, performing an act of kindness, or supporting a charitable organization that provides dental care to those in need.
