Steven Clement Jones

Steven Clement Jones, 63, of Castle Hayne, NC, passed away Thursday, June 10, 2010, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born in Greensboro, NC, May 6, 1947, son of Miriam Neal Jones of Wilmington, and the late Paul Clement Jones. Mr. Jones was an automobile broker for many years in NC and FL. He is remembered as a very generous humanitarian with a sharp sense of humor. He was a man who loved his wife and family and also enjoyed fishing and being at the beach. Surviving in addition to his mother is wife of fourteen years, Paula Davis Jones; his sister, Sherri Jones Pridgen of Wilmington; a brother, Jeff Jones of Reidsville, NC; nephews, Jeff Jones and wife Dana of Clinton, NC and Paul Pridgen and wife Emilie of Wilmington; and several other extended family members. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Carolina Beach Presbyterian Church, 1209 North Lake Park Blvd. Carolina Beach, NC, with the Rev. Keith Grogg officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until the service hour.
