Steven was born on August 24, 1949 in Flint, MI son of the late Andrew L. Moon and Donna L. Johnson .
Steven enjoyed woodworking, his Navy career, Native American culture and the love of his dogs.
Steven is survived by his wife, Katharine Lena Moon; children; Christian N. Moon, Ian Moon, and Jodi McGhee; grandchildren: Maya McGhee, Kahlin McGhee, Mia Moon and Ava Moon; sister, Jacqueline Moon.
