Susan Owens Taylor

Susan "Sue" Taylor was born on July 31, 1960, and passed on January 29, 2013, at the age of 52. She was a current and lifetime resident of Leland, NC. Sue spent her final days surrounded by her loved ones at SECU Hospice House Of Brunswick. Sue was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Benjamin Owens, Jr. Also by her infant daughter, Connie Lynn Taylor and granddaughter, Abigail Hernandez.

Sue is survived by her mother, Emma Lee Owens; four children: Gregory Lee Taylor (his spouse Peggy Jean Taylor); Crystal Dawn Medina Cuevas (her spouse Juan Cuevas); Carrie Kay Hernandez and Bo Anderson Taylor. Her siblings include Brenda Lee Horrell, Linda Gail Herring (her spouse Johnny Herring) and Cecil "Kent" Owens. And a special nephew, Marshall Malpass. She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews.

Sue was always full of life and fought until the very end. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends who loved her dearly.
