Teresa "Terrie" Easley Smith

Terrie was born on May 12, 1959, in Merritt Island Florida, daughter of the late John Bennett and Frances Ann (Doonan) Easley.

Many people in the Carolina Beach area will remember Terrie as their friendly mail carrier, where she spent 25 years working for the US Postal Service. She enjoyed 4-wheeling on the beach, flowers, hummingbirds and baking, her cakes were her specialty, which everyone looked forward to. Terrie also loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Terrie is survived by her husband, of 40 years, Jimmy A. Smith; son, Christopher Fincher-Smith and his wife, Emily and their children, Morgan and Elliott; son, David Ward and his children, Kristy and Shae; and her 3 siblings and their spouses, Sharon and Danny Autry, Brad and Sandy Easley, and Annie and Richard Boyles.

A memorial service, to celebrate Terrie’s life, will be announced soon, at Andrews Mortuary, Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd., Wilmington.
