Thomas Stanley Reeves, Sr.

Thomas ""Tom"" Stanley Reeves, Sr. of Castle Hayne died Friday September 30, 2011 at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. He was born March 31, 1939 in Clinton, NC son of the late Oscar Reeves and Cassie Gainey Reeves. Mr. Reeves served in the US Air Force, started Reeves Heating and Air in 1970 and operated it for thirty years, and was the owner of Carolina Omelet house for ten years. He was a member of Scotts Hill Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Surviving is his wife of fifty years Sylvia Reeves, children: Tommy Reeves and wife Sherry, Pam Gregory and husband Alan, Doug Reeves and Kathy Fields and her son Cory, grandchildren: Amanda and Katie Gregory and Cody McPherson. A funeral service will be held 9:30am Tuesday October 4, 2011 at Scotts Hill Baptist Church followed with a graveside service 11am Tuesday at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday October 3, 2011 from 6pm until 8pm at Andrews Mortuary Market Street Chapel.
