Timmie married his wife, Nancy on March 10, 1974 and together they raised two sons, Brad and Kyle. While the boys were growing up Timmie spent his time as a General Contractor building houses in the local area. His career was his passion and he not only built houses for others but he built the home he shared with his family.
Timmie was preceded in death by his parents, Berry and Stella Maready, and two brothers, Edgar Maready and Lynn "Sammy" Maready.
Timmie leaves his wife of 52 years, Nancy Maready; two sons, Brad Maready, his wife, Kimberly, and Kyle Maready, his wife, Leslie, all of Wilmington; two brothers, Edward Maready, his wife, Silvia of Wilmington, and David Maready, his wife Audrey of Chinquapin; 2 sisters, Myrene Thigpen of Potters Hill and Margaret Bostic of Chinquapin.
Family will welcome friends from 2-4 PM, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026 at Andrews Mortuary, 1617 Market Street, Wilmington.
