Tinnie M. Sullivan

Tinnie Mintz Sullivan passed away Thursday, September 08, 2011. She was the daughter of the late Jefferson Pierce Mintz and Mary Francis Gainey-Mintz, and the wife of the late Archie Harrison Sullivan. She was preceded in death by her son, Herman Lee Sullivan. She was a member of Elah Baptist Church in Leland, NC.

Tinnie is survived by her children, Frank Sullivan and wife, Jean, Harry Sullivan and wife, Judy,Mary Sullivan-King and husband, Fred, Thurman Sullivan and wife, Linda, and Joyce Sullivan-Hughes and husband, Ronald. Mrs. Sullivan had 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, and a beloved dog, Bell. Also surviving are a brother, Weldon Mintz and a sister, Nolia Mintz-Smith.

Graveside services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 9, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice Life Care Center, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
