Vincent Patrick Nucci

Vincent Patrick Nucci passed away July 1, 2011 with his family by his side. He was born August 31, 1925 in Staten Island, NY to the late Atticio and Concetta Nucci. He was preceded in death by the love of his life for 53 years Willa Nucci, a daughter Cathy Clark, two sisters, Maggie Selitti and Florence Nucci, brothers, Leo Nucci and Phil Nucci. Vinnie served in the US Marine Corp for 22 years as a gunnery sergeant after retiring he worked for the Sate Ports Railroad for 17 years. He loved traveling with his wife Willa, fishing and life. Vinnie may be gone but will live on in the lives of all those who knew him and loved him. Surviving are his sons, Steve Nucci and wife Sylvia of Wilmington and Mike Nucci of Winnabow, one daughter, Susan Nucci of Wilmington, grandchildren, Patrick Nucci, Amber Nucci, Michael Nucci, Adrian Nucci, Will Clark and Gray Clark, one great granddaughter Aniyatt Whitman. A graveside service with full military honors will be held 10 am Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at Sea Lawn Memorial Park in Hampstead. The family will receive friends form 7 to 9pm Tuesday July 5, 2011 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel. The family would like to offer a special thanks to the 7th and 10th floors and Medical ICU at NHRMC.
