Warren Joseph Kash Jr. of Wilmington, NC, at the of age 66 and in great health, went to sleep and woke up in the presence of his Lord Jesus on June 7, 2019.

He was born in Queens, NY on April 30, 1953, the second born to the late Warren J Kash Sr. and Eunice (Quinn) Kash.

Warren grew up in Kings Park, NY where he graduated from Kings Park High School in 1973. He met his wife, Ruth, in church and they married March 5, 1978. They moved to Houston, TX where they birthed and raised their children. He served in children's ministry, leading children's church and serving in the church wherever he was needed. He was the owner operator of Warren Kash Painting for many years before relocating and relaunching in Wilmington, NC in 1995.

At 50 years old, Warren went back to school at Cape Fear Community College to be a Radiography Technologist and graduated in 2007 with straight A's receiving national honors. He worked at EmergeOrtho for 12 years. Warren and Ruth tried Lifepoint Church and found an immediate home. They found a loving church pointing people to a life in Christ. He served with Lifepoint during Hurricane Florence serving food and helping where he could.

Warren passionately stood up for life and was quick to join a protest for the things he believed in. He loved God and his country. Most of all he loved people, his wife, family, co-workers, and everyone he encountered. He loved to engage people and have real conversations and always found a way to make them laugh. Often close to crossing the line and sometimes doing it, you never really knew what would happen next. He loved going to the beach, flying kites, and grilling out. Warren didn't always fit in at the grown up table, so he spent a lot of time positively impacting his kids, their friends, and his many nieces and nephews with his humor and sometimes a magic trick.

He had an intimate and passionate love for his wife. He provided for, cared for, and doted on her. They fervently studied the bible together, served together, and enjoyed each others company. They enjoyed sunsets on the beach or on the river, playing Pokemon Go together, trivia on Tuesday nights, cards with friends, and dancing around the living room to their favorite music. After 41 years of marriage they still dated like newlyweds.

The path to heaven was cleared for him by his parents Warren J Kash Sr and Eunice (Quinn) Kash, his brother James Kash and his former sister in law Donna Kash.

Warren is survived by his wife and best friend Ruth (Arntsen) Kash, his son Jordan (Jay) Kash, his daughter Alison and son-in-love Matt Meehan, and his grandchildren that he loved so much, Korin and Matthew Meehan; his sister Anne Kash, and his sister Sharman Popovich and her husband Slavko.

He will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Jennifer Greco and husband Frank, Anne Chura, Julie Fischer and husband Ray, Michelle McFadden and husband Billy, Jim Kash and wife Kim, Rachel McCormack, Lauren Nolot and husband Benji, Johnny Arntsen and wife Mary, and many many great nieces and nephews.

Warren and Ruth had a special relationship with other family in Wilmington, Rich and Maureen Biagini, Missy and Dan Bennett and their children, and Rich and Sue Biagini and their children.

Warren was a true patriot, he loved our country and loved our president. In lieu of flowers, please donate to President Donald J Trumps 2020 re-election campaign.

Over 10 year acquaintance with Ruth and Warren, we have seen a lot of joys and sorrows with the greatest of sorrows Hurricane Florence 2018. Ruth and Warren turned sorrow around and went forward with eagerness and hope. I truly believe Warren is where he wants to be now that his job on earth is finished. I am thankful for knowing him.

Warren was so fun. He and Ruth hosted us many times at their pool. So when they asked for a favor I said sure. Anything. It was the day before the 2016 election and they had signed up to work the polls outside on behalf of their favorite candidate. They couldn't make it and asked me to go pass out the flyers...and also decorate my van with the signs Warren had made. Because I loved them, I parked right in front of the Senior Center with HUGE handpainted signs taped to my car, LOCK HER UP. I would not have done that for just anybody. We will miss you Warren. Now you are in paradise.

I went to school with Warren & grew up with Ruthie & her family from church. What can one say but that he is in a better place & still with that wonderful smile. I know he is watching over you Ruthie. You had a beautiful relationship that showed constantly. You have an army of family & friends behind you. You will never be alone & always loved. RIP Warren...

I had the pleasure of working with Warren for the past 5 years. He always did what he could to make everyone feel welcome. He had a way with all of the patients, even when they called him "Norman". He had an amazing personality and is going to be greatly missed. 💜💚

I had the pleasure of working in the same office as Warren. I looked forward to his good morning ladies, running into him in the hall telling me OMG your so short with the biggest smile(me being maybe 4ft9inch) him telling me that never got old. He always made me laugh and smile. I will never forget the day a lizard came into the office, an office full of ladies. He was laughing at us as we was running and screaming lol. He was the light and joy of our office.

I am shocked and saddened by his passing. He was so kind and caring and took excellent care of me when he and Dr Zub treated me. I was scheduled to see him yesterday and will go today but will truly miss his care. Condolences to the family and loved ones.
