He was retired, the former owner of Britt's Painting. He was an avid coin collector and enjoyed sharing his love for coins with his children and grandchildren. He loved going fishing, camping and taking vacations with his family. In his later years Bill's favorite pastime was enjoying his news channels with a good cup of coffee with his beloved dog Tiny in his lap.
He was preceded in death by his wife Donna Kay (Brooks) Britt and his parents.
He is survived by his four daughters, Paula Gonzalez of Wilmington, Tamela Aguire of Wilmington, Teena Horne of Wilmington and Billie McDaniels (Jesse) of Ardmore, OK. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a sister Shirley Long and two brothers Ronald and Johnny Britt.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on January 30, 2019 at Andrews Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Oleander Memorial Gardens.
