William Earle Brock

William Earle Brock, 93, of Wilmington, NC died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center. He was born on July 13, 1921 in Fort Worth, TX, the son of the late J.W. Brock and Chloe Woodham Brock. Also remembered is his wife, Ruth Rhodes Brock and his son, Wiley Dale Brock, both of who preceded him in death. William was a veteran of the US Army having served during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He graduated from the University of Alabama and spent his career as a Certified Public Accountant. He was a faithful member of Temple Baptist Church. Surviving is his daughter, Wendy Brock Rosinbaum and husband Bobby of Hampstead, NC; his foster-son, Winston Futch and wife Carolyn of High Point, NC; one sister, Betty Harris of Wilmington; a brother, Jerry Brock and wife Gerda of St. George, Utah; ten grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be celebrated at 3:00 pm Thursday, April 16, 2015 at Temple Baptist Church. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1406 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC 28401.
