William Tommie Hill

Born in Kenansville, Tommie was the son of the late William Coy Hill and Estelle (Williams) Hill. He served his country in the US Air Force, and then worked for DuPont Chemical Company for many years, retiring as a production supervisor. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Wilmington.

Tommie is survived by his wife Dorothy; children Wendy Foreman and her husband Chris, Thomas Scott Hill and his wife Janet, stepdaughter Melody Neal and her husband Ben, grandchildren Ashley Banks Foreman, Callie Scott Hill, and Fulton Armstrong Hill, Lexy Neal, T.J Neal and Kenzie Neal; siblings Bill Hill, Violet Saviak; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Edward Hill, Roger Hill, Grover Hill, David Hill, Clayton Hill, Douglas Hill, Joe Hill, Bonnie Herring, Marlene Boutwell, Frances Herring, Adeline Taylor and Letha Outlaw.
