He was born in Portsmouth, VA, on May 9, 1947, the son of the late William Thomas Pearce, Sr. and Flora Mae Sebeck Pearce.
Mr. Pearce was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the US Marine Corps. He also served his local community as a firefighter for over 20 years.
Mr. Pearce is survived by his wife Betty Irene Pearce; two sons, William Thomas Pearce, III, and Anthony Pearce and his wife Jane Pearce; stepdaughter, Tina Irene Crumpler; stepson, Michael Thomas Crumpler and his wife Theresa Nancy Crumpler; two granddaughters, Brittany N. Evens and Sophia Pearce; three grandsons, Joshua, Benjamen and Noah Pearce; a step-grandson, John Thomas Bolles, III; a step-granddaughter, Andrea Marie Mouzone; one step-great-granddaughter, Alexa Marie Rivera; three step-great-grandsons, Ken Nathin Rivera, Kimball Douglas Mouzone and Mandrell Anthony Harris; and one brother, Frederick Pearce.
Private funeral services will be held on Friday, November 13, 2020. Mr. Pearce will be buried at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery in Jacksonville, NC.
