William Oree Suggs, 69, of Wilmington, NC, passed away peacefully early Wednesday morning, October 7, 2009, with his family by his side. Oree was predeceased by his father and mother, Bill and Margaret Suggs of Little River, SC, and two brothers, Roger Suggs and James Suggs. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife of forty-eight years, Lilly; a loving and faithful daughter, Tammy and her husband, Phillip, and the apple of his eye, his grandson, Neal; a sister, Carolyn Rivenbark of Wilmington; and a brother, Gene Suggs and wife Carmie of Charlotte, NC. Mr. Suggs was a brand manager with Jackson Beverage Company and was a veteran of the National Guard. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October, 9, 2009, at Greenlawn Memorial Park by the Rev. Butler Anderson. The family wishes to thank Dr. William McNulty and his staff for the wonderful care he received and to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice and LifeCare Center.
