Willie Fae Johnson Raines

Willie Fae Johnson Raines, 93, of Wilmington, NC, died Thursday, July 17, 2014 at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center. She was born on November 11, 1920 in Chesterfield County, SC, the daughter of the late Maxie Harvey Johnson and Clarcy Louise Oliver Johnson (Lisenby). Also remembered is her husband, Marvin David Raines, a daughter, Judith Ann Raines and Marvin David, Jr., and a sister, Louise Johnson Watts, all of who preceded her in death. Mrs. Raines was a member of Pearsall Memorial Presbyterian Church and worked in the floral business for many years at Westbrook's Floral Shoppe and later John Verzaal's. Surviving is her daughter, Bonnie Raines Culbreth (Stephen); a son, Michael E. Raines (Peggy Reynolds); grandchildren, Michael Raines (Loretta), David Raines (Anna), Jennifer Addis (Brooks), Ashley Culbreth Council (Scott), and Ethan Culbreth; great-grandchildren, Michael David (Lynzee), Conner, Brooke, Jenna, Alisha, Noah, Kaitlyn, Warren, Bryliegh, Isabelle Louise Council, Willa Victoria Council, Andrew and Morgan. A graveside service will be held 10:00 am Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Oleander Memorial Gardens. The family would like to express their appreciation to the staff of Silver Stream Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
