She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. on April 4,1927 to Bessie Levin Green and Max Green who predeceased her as did her husband of 65 years, Joseph.
Zee married Joe on December 20, 1953, and they moved to Wilmington in November 1960.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Warren of Chapel Hill N.C. and her son David Reitblatt (Joan) of San Antonio, Texas, and 6 grandchildren: Max Reitblatt (Jennifer) Mark Reitblatt (Zoe) Sandy W. Gibbs (David) Danielle Warren (McKinley) Dana Warren (Ethan) Sally W. Karrigan (Branden), one great-grandchild, Nicolai Reitblatt and her brother Michael of Boca Raton, Florida, and many nieces and nephews in Israel, N.J. and Florida. As well as her Wilmington family, Roselle Margolis.
She had varied interests over the years: Cub Scouts Den Mother, Pink Lady at New Hanover Hospital, Family Services Archives of Cape Fear Historical Society, Square Dancer, Book Baggers book club – and always enjoyed playing Rummy Q with friends.
She had been campaign organizer for Cerebral Palsy of N.C. and the Heart Fund. She was a long- time member of B’nai Israel Synagogue and Sisterhood.
She had a long, interesting life with Joe, her family and friends, and enjoyed travelling.
