She was born December 10, 1943, to the late Sallie and Cecil Petrarca in Baltimore, Maryland. She was a graduate of Fike High School and married Robert Guy Joyner in 1962.
She is survived by her son, Anthony (Tony) Joyner, his wife, Jennifer, and their two children, Madison and Jack.
Graveside services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Service and Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Wilson, NC and will be conducted by Randy Russell.
