

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Connor Hendricks and Blonnie Wheeler Hendricks, one brother, Albert Hendricks Jr. and one sister Minnie Moncrief.
He is survived by his three daughters; Angela Nicole Leo (Jada) of Huntsville, AL, Dawn Wanette Hendricks (Amy) of Huntsville, AL, and Kelly Ann Jones of Hazel Green, AL, four brothers; Reese Hendricks (Kay) of Ernul, William Thomas Hendricks (Ethel) of Stantonsburg, Johnny Hendricks (Mary) of Elm City and James Hendricks (Cindy) of Fountain, eight sisters; Sue Summerlin of Fountain, Maggie McLaughlin of Columbus, SC, Callie Saunders of Gainesville, GA, Janice Davis of Stantonsburg, Edith Edmondson of Fountain, Betsy Dail (Morris) of Elm City, Katie Moore (Bob) of Wilson, and Margaret Harrell (Bill) of Fountain, and three grandchildren; Madison Jones, Dylan Smith and Damon Smith.
Frankie will always be remembered as a man who enjoyed life. He always had a good time and had a great sense of humor. He was a huge fan of the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. Children loved him and he would do anything he could to help anyone in need. He was a member of Pender’s Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Tarboro. He will be truly missed by all that knew and loved him.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 2:00pm at Evergreen Memorial Park in Wilson and will be officiated by Pastor Johnny Hendricks. Family will receive friends and visitors immediately following the service at the graveside. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St. N, Wilson, NC 27896.
