Bernice Ray Peeden, Jr. age 47 of Fremont, passed away in his home on Thursday, September 4, 2014. Born in Wilson County, December 25, 1966 the son of the late Bernice Ray Peeden, Sr. and Shirley Keen Peeden; he was a lifelong resident. He is survived by his children, Elizabeth Michelle Barfield of Goldsboro, Jennifer Rae Peeden and Tyler Ray Peeden both of Pikeville; grandchildren, Brysen and Matthew; sister, Vicky Bennett of Wilson; and former wife, Karen Peeden. Funeral service will be held 3:00 PM Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home Chapel with entombment to follow in Evergreen Memorial Park.
