She was a faithful employee of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for 16 years but her main job was being a devoted wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Coy Wayne Mitchell. She is also survived by her daughter, Valerie Mitchell, and granddaughter, Lilly Anna Snyder, both of Wilson. She is also survived by several cousins in Kinston, NC.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Valton Kyle Rouse and Marilyn Rouse.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, 5/24/2025, at 3 PM at Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Wilson, NC.
