Charlie Lee Cannon March 24, 1943 – October 27, 2017 Charlie Lee Cannon, 74, of Sims passed away Friday. Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 30, 2017, at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, Wilson. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 31, 2017, in Bailey Town Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday evening, immediately following the service, at the funeral home located at 2704 Nash St. N, Wilson. Surviving are one brother, Thomas E. Cannon and wife, Frances of Sims. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Hawley Cannon; parents, Dewitt Cannon and Ethel Taylor Sanders; and a sister, Jeanette Bubenmoyer.
