KATHERINE MILLER CLANTON Katherine Miller Clanton, 63, went home to the Lord on Friday, June 12, 2015.She was the wife of the late Thomas P. “Tommy” Clanton. She was born January 31, 1952, in New Bern, the daughter of Dale and Marjorie Miller of Zebulon, and had lived in Wilson for many years. She had been employed by Kidde Aerospace for many years until her recent retirement. Beside her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Almond and her husband Josh Newman; her son, Ben Clanton; her grandchildren, Reece Newman and Thomas Newman; her sister Marsha Morgan and her husband Rick, all of Raleigh. Her family will receive relatives and friends in the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St., Wilson, Friday, June 19, 2015 from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. Entombment will be private in the mausoleum at Evergreen Memorial Park.
