Lucretia Joyner age 76 went to be with the Lord on October 4, 2014. She passed away surrounded by her loving family. Lucretia was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Nina Taylor, she is survived by her daughter Ramona Joyner Easter and husband Tim and grandsons Bryan and Wesley Pridgen and step-grandson Kenny Easter and wife Amanda all of Wilson. Brother: Preston Taylor and wife Sally and their son Tim Taylor of Lucama; Brother: Earl Taylor and wife Janet and their daughter Beth Phelps and Beth’s children Cole and Taylor Phelps; Earl’s son Jamie Taylor and wife Kim and their children Wil and Erin Taylor all of Roanoke Rapids. A funeral service will be held to celebrate the life of Lucretia on Monday October 6, 2014 at 7 PM in the chapel of Thomas Yelverton Funeral Home. A visitation will follow the service and last until 9 PM. Burial will be on Tuesday October 7, 2014 at 2 PM at the Evans Family Cemetery, Scotts Church Road Lucama.
