Maggie Williams Eatmon
February 13, 1937 – December 23, 2020
Maggie Williams Eatmon, 83, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. At the family’s request, graveside services in Martin Memorial Gardens, Williamston, NC, will be private.
Maggie received a Bachelor of Sacred Literature Degree from Holmes College of the Bible and played the piano for many years at First Pentecostal Holiness Church in Williamston, NC. She had a life-long love for children, especially babies and toddlers, looking after them in her home. One of Maggie’s greatest joys was working in her garden. Maggie lived a Christian life and is now rejoicing in the arms of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Surviving are her son, Michael Glenn “Mike” Eatmon (Debbie) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL; two daughters, Robin Anette Eatmon (Jim Barnes) of Wilson and Lorrie Barbee (Craig) of Raleigh; three grandchildren, Hunter Lilley, Jennifer Eatmon and Christopher Eatmon; one great-granddaughter, Alanna Lilley; two sisters, Joann Mobley and Lois Peele; several extended grandchildren and great-grandchildren that were dear to her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald G. Eatmon; her parents, John Thomas and Martha Bowen Williams; and one brother, Billy Williams.
The Eatmon family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Wilson Pines for the loving care provided to Maggie.
