Mark was a farmer and very active in the Young Farmer’s Association. He was very devoted to his family.
Left to cherish his memory are his parents, his brother Dave Batts, his nephews Auston Batts (Nina) and Nathan Batts, his great nephew Isiah Batts, his two great nieces, Maliyah and Aubrey Batts, his uncles William Batts and Bobby Ray Batts, his aunts Dovie Batts, Joyce Mumford, Patsy Proctor and Linda Deters and numerous cousins.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 5, 2023 at 2 PM at Evergreen Memorial Park with Pastor Jason DuVall officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in Mark’s name to Wilson County Cooperative Extension Service-Young Farmers Association- 1806 S. Goldsboro St. Wilson, NC 27893 or charity of choice.
