Susie Boykin Williamson May 1, 1928 – August 18, 2015 Susie Williamson, 87, died at home at 1616 Airport Blvd on August 18, 2015 after a long and vital life as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, Southern cook extraordinaire and nurse to many in the community. Funeral services will be held graveside on Saturday morning, September 19 at 10:30 AM in Evergreen Memorial Park, 2800 Nash St. in Wilson. The family will receive visitors at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home 2704 Nash St. immediately after the service until 12:30 PM. Survivors include one son, Bill Williamson and fiance Teresa Glover of Atlantic Beach; two daughters, Sue Ellen Thompson and husband Ralph of Raleigh and Ann Williamson and husband Bern Shen of San Francisco, CA; two grandsons, Jake Williamson and wife Christy of San Diego, CA and Daniel Thompson of Oakland, CA and one granddaughter, Jessica Donohue and husband Mike of Raleigh; two sisters, Polly Bailey of Kinston and Faye Williams of Newport News, VA, along with a number of nieces and nephews in NC and beyond. She was preceded in death by her husband Tommie and son Tommie Blake Williamson, mother and father Luther and Lilly Boykin and 7 siblings.
