Alice Brenda Wilkes

Alice Brenda Wilkes, age 75, of Winder, GA passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023. Brenda had served as the manager of Rock Springs Apartments. She was a member of Winder First Baptist Church. She loved to fish, paint houses, and crochet.

Brenda was the daughter of the late Eva Mae Griffith and Charles Walter Lee. In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her husband of 11 years, Dennis Wilkes. She is survived by her four sons: Shane Martin of Cartersville, Dwayne Martin of Winder, Jerry (Teresa) Martin of Winder, and Michael (Crystal) Martin of Statham; her brother, Wayne (Linda) Lee of Amory, MS; her sister, Becky (Dennis) Lackey of Cleveland; 9 grandchildren; and 18 great grandchildren.

A visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home on Sunday, July 9, from noon until 2:00 pm. The Funeral will be held in Smith Memory Chapel at 2:00 pm following the visitation. Interment will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
