Alma B. Donald, age 93 of Winder passed away Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was a member of Bethlehem First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Alma Carol Stripling Beasley; her husband, John Wesley Donald and her sister, Katherine Rogers. She is survived by three sons, Thomas Wayne Bishop of Las Vegas, Johnny Donald Jr. of Winder and Terry Donald (Mickey) of Bethlehem; a sister, Betty Douglas of Dallas, GA; two grandchildren, Todd Simonton and Tracy Hughes and five great-grandchildren, Timothy Simonton, Randall Forehand, Jeremy Ramsey, Hunter Ramsey and Mason Simonton. Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2014 from 5 until 8:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, March 26, 2014 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with Rev. Parker Benson officiating. Interment will be in Barrow Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
