

Bernadine Moses Sutton, age 77, passed away on July 2, 2022 in her home in Monroe, GA, where she had resided since 1997. Mrs. Sutton was the daughter of the late Adolph and Irene Midgett Moses. She was born on March 25, 1945 in Potosi, MO. She was the sister of Harry Eugene, John Gilbert, Dale (Clarabell), Bruce (Betty), Juanita (late James) Larimore, Rosalie (John) Laird, Evelyn (late Grover Paul) Mize, Judy (late James) Barnett, Linnie Moses, Milton Randell (Asylla) Moses. She was preceded in death by Eugene, Gilbert, Dale, and Evelyn.
She enjoyed playing the piano for her family and in Church services. She babysat her grandchildren and was an amazing cook. She opened her home to all her family for each holiday to celebrate together, and made sure to celebrate each of our birthdays to show how much she cared for each one of us.
Memorial services are planned for Sunday July 10, 2022 in the Smith Memory Chapel at 2:00 pm. There will be a Zoom link provided for any out of town guests that are not able to make the service.
Survivors include her husband of 57 years, Cecil Robert Sutton; children: Stephen (Regina) Sutton, Stacey (Gary) Black, and Amy Stanford; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild.
