Betty Sue Aycock, age 76 of Bogart, passed away Thursday, August 20, 2020. She worked as a machine operator for Dolco Inc. Betty loved her family, especially her grandbabies. She loved shopping, having her nails done, dancing and sports, especially her Braves and Falcon’s.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, John Darrell Jones and Mary Hazel Mobley and her husband, Walter Bins Aycock. She is survived by a son, Scott Aycock (Sherry) of Commerce; two daughters, Cindy Martin (James Hughes) of Bogart and Kim King of Lawrenceville; a sister, Diane Kelly of Peachtree city; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 22, 2020 at Smith Funeral Home from 5 until 9PM. A funeral service will be held at 2PM Sunday, August 23, 2020 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home with pastor Ken Clack officiating. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
