Catherine Thomas Wages, age 96 of Winder, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016. She was a member of The Winder First United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Clinton and Montine Smith Thomas and her husband, Kermit Wages. Catherine is survived by a son, Keith Wages of Winder; a daughter, Beverly Pennington of St. Augustine, FL and two grandchildren, Katie and Matt Pennington. Funeral services will be at 4:00PM Sunday, June 12, 2016 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA with Rev. Larry Rary officiating. The family will receive friends from 2 until 4PM Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Barrow Memorial Gardens.
