CLARA GRIFFIN WATSON, age 88 of Winder passed away Tuesday January 14, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2014 in the Smith Memory Chapel with the Rev. Terry Tippens officiating. Burial will be in the Barrow Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Watson had retired from Tropi Gas, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winder. She was a member of the Winder Eastern Star where she was past worthy matron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Billy Watson. Survivors include her three nieces, Lane (Wayne) Wilburn, Winder; Lisa Lynn, Chapel Hill Texas; Nancy McCants, Winder; a nephew, Walter McCants, and several great nieces and nephews.
