Danielle Elizabeth McDonnell

Danielle Elizabeth “Dani” McDonnell, age 36, passed away on September 9, 2025, in Flowery Branch, GA. She was born March 20, 1989, in Atlanta. Dani brought light and energy to those around her throughout her life. A proud member of Apalachee High School Class of 2011, Dani was known for her vibrant personality and generous spirit. Her deep love for animals led her to spend many hours volunteering at the local animal shelter. She especially adored cats and always welcomed furry companions into her home with open arms. Dani embraced life with enthusiasm and joy. She loved swimming and could often be found enjoying time in the water. Bowling brought her laughter and connection, while cooking became a recent passion she pursued with creativity and flair. Dani absolutely loved to go shopping - entire days could be spent going from store to store. Her love for crafts provided another joyful outlet for self-expression. Dani had a natural gift for making friends wherever she went and cherished forming new bonds.

She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Susan; father, Doug; brother, Dylan; uncles, Jim and Chris; aunt and uncle Robert and Janice; aunt and uncle Kim and Ken; cousins: Cathy, Stephen, Breanna, and Katie Beth; grandparents: Barb, Nancy, and Dale; and great-aunt Patricia. Danielle was preceded in death by her grandfather Charles Oscar, who passed away in October 2023. Danielle’s warmth, humor, and unwavering kindness touched everyone who knew her. Her memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who loved her most.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Smith Memory Chapel, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA.
