David Bruce Stapleton, age 53 of Watkinsville, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Gloria Moore Stapleton. Bruce is survived by a brother, John Stapleton (Clarissa) of Statham; two sisters, Kay Stapleton of Watkinsville and Jennifer Thornton (Phil) of Benton, TN and nieces and nephew, Quincy Damron, Anna Drake and Asa Thornton. A graveside service will be held at 2PM Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Brent Gilstrap officiating.
