Donald House Dunahoo, age 77 passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. He was born on April 25, 1948 in Athens, GA to Horace and Mazie Dunahoo. Donald was a former president of the Lions Club and loved playing golf. He was a land surveyor in Barrow County for 55 plus years where he had the joy of working with his brother, son, and grandson.
He is predeceased by his parents Horace and Mazie Dunahoo; and sisters: Marie Smith and Jerrye Purcell.
Donald is survived by his son Daniel Dunahoo (Amanda); brothers: Ray Dunahoo and WT Dunahoo; sister, Jo Benton; and grandchildren, Payton Daniel Dunahoo and Madison Elizabeth Dunahoo.
A visitation for Donald will be held Monday, July 7, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 2:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel. His burial will be Rose Hill Cemetery, Winder, GA.
