Donald Hardigree

Donald Randolph Hardigree, age 91 of Winder, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016. He was a member of Chapel Christian Church. Donald was very active in his community and served as long as he was able. He was a member of Davidson Masonic Lodge #103 and The Winder Lions Club, where he was the past District Governor of the 18th District. He was preceded in death by his parents, James E. and Mary Elder Hardigree; His first wife, Doris Fincher Hardigree; a son, Donald Wayne Hardigree and his second wife, Doris Manders Hardigree. Donald is survived by a son, Daniel Hardigree (Lynn) of Winder; a daughter-in-law, Peggy Hardigree Kell of Tryon, NC; a brother, James G. Hardigree of Winder; 2 grandchildren, Christian Elizabeth Hardigree and Jonathan Dean Hardigree and 3 great-grandchildren, Parker, Hudson and Anderson Brown. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A funeral service will be held at 4:00PM Thursday, June 30, 2016 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA with Pastor Jim Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00PM until funeral hour on Thursday. Interment will follow in Chapel Christian Church Cemetery. Donations may be made to The Lions Lighthouse for the Blind in Memory of Donald. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA is in charge of arrangements.
