

Doris Jean Harm, age 89, passed away on June 22, 2026. She was born in Charleston, WV to the late Raymond and Nancy Frye Sunderland. Over the years, Doris lived in Charleston, WV for 30 years, Cleveland, OH for 18 years, Bardstown, KY for 20 years, and Wilmington, NC for 15 years. She moved to Georgia in 2019 and lived in both Suwanee and Winder. Doris was of the Catholic faith. She worked as a secretary until her retirement. After retirement, she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her exercise group in Wilmington, NC. She also enjoyed gardening and crocheting.
In addition to her parents, Doris was predeceased by her siblings: Raymond E. Sunderland, Raymond Vance, and Ruth Whilt; and her former husbands: Kenneth Caldwell, Harry Harm (1966 - 2002), and Eugene Harm (2004 - 2017).
Doris is survived by her stepson, Richard (Kathy) Harm of Garner, NC, and daughters: Cheryl Caldwell of Front Royal, VA and Nancy (John) Hartz of Winder, GA. She is also survived by grandchildren: Jason Harm, Jessica Harm, Michael (Trisha) Zarlinga, Tiffany (Tony) Rollison, Glenn Gilmore, Kenneth Gilmore, Evan (Gabriella) Hartz, Alex (Kaitlyn) Hartz, Aaron Hartz, and Audrey (Will) Mize; and great-grandchildren: Karter Zarlinga, Parker (Destiny), Meghan Rollison, Chase Rollison, Penelope Gilmore, Hayden Gilmore, Andrew Hartz, Brendan Hartz, and two others, William (due in December 2026) and Carter (due in August 2026; and one great-great-grandchild, Brier Zarlinga.
She will be buried in Bardstown, KY. Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA, has charge of arrangements.
