

Mr. Mann was an amazing, hardworking man that was loved by many. He will be best remembered by his family as a loving, caring, and gentle father, grandfather, and a wonderful husband. He was known by Wayne, but was called "Dad" by more than just his family. He was loved by many and never met a stranger. Mr. Mann retired from Xerox and served the country faithfully in the United States Navy and Army. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Monroe.
Mr. Mann is preceded in death by his parents, James Isaiah Mann and Claudine Mann.
Mr. Mann is survived by his wife of 32 years, Brenda Murrell Mann of Conyers; sons, Michael Wayne (Daniela) Mann of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, and Robert James (Jacqueline) Mann of Acworth; daughters, Bonnie (Jason) Binns of Palm Coast, Florida, and Cindy (Floyd) Ellis of Covington; sister, Brenda Meyers of Dallas, Texas; and eight grandchildren also survive.
The family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Smith Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be held at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton on Thursday, February 25, 2021 with military honors rendered. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the graveside service will only be limited to immediate family. The service will be livestreamed through the Smith Funeral Home Facebook page beginning at 11:00 AM.
The family respectfully request donations be made in memory of Mr. Mann to the American Cancer Society or to the Wounded Warrior Project.
