Mr. Doyle Charles Foster

Mr. Doyle Charles Foster, age 87, of Statham, Georgia passed away on Thursday, August 24, 2023. In 1936 Doyle was born in Barrow County, Georgia to parents Herschel P. Foster and Marie Foster. He was a lifelong resident of Georgia and a graduate of Statham High School. Doyle loved working on the farm with his wife of 67 years, Louise. It's on the farm where they "raised cows and kids." His family and friends will remember Doyle for his love of Christ. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Statham and proudly served the church community as a Deacon for over 40 years.

Doyle C. Foster is survived by his loving wife Louise Foster; Steve (Lynn) Foster, Dedra (Gary) Turner, Blake (Leellen) Foster and Stacy (Tanya) Foster; grandchildren: Tandi (Michael) Dubnik, Trent Allen, Stephen Foster, Jr., Taylor (Derek) Vandiver, Tori Turner, Caylan (Steven) Carlisle, Cameron Foster, Carah Foster, Hannah Foster and Eli Foster; great-grandchildren: Lex Dubnik, Dax Vandiver and Ezra Vandiver; and sisters, Helen Turner and Shirley Campbell.

In addition to his parents Doyle is preceded in passing by his daughter, Sheila Allen and her husband Tony Allen, and brothers Ray and Lamar Foster.

A visitation for Doyle will be held Monday, August 28, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia. The funeral service will be Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Calvary Baptist Church, 1975 GA-82, Statham, Georgia.
