Edward "Teddy" Thomas Byrne

Edward “Teddy” Thomas Byrne age 80 of Cumming, passed away Tuesday, January 12, 2021. He was an Irish native of Bronx, NY and was of the Christian faith. During his high school year’s Teddy enjoyed cross country and track. He retired as a restaurant manager for Po Folks Restaurants. Teddy loved his family, reading and training his dogs.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Peter Thomas and Kathleen Mines Byrne; a grandson and a sister, Nancy Economou. Teddy is survived by three sons, Shawn Byrne (Tracie) of Flowery Branch, Eddie Olinger (Maria) of Hawaii and Bryan Byrne (Brandy) of Flowery Branch; two daughters, Michelle Crawford of Gainesville and Debbie Jones (Wade) of Covington; a brother, Frank Byrne of Lancaster, PA; three sisters, Erin Byrne (Jamie) of Clearwater, FL, Maureen Williams of Braselton and Gerri Byrne of Littleton, CO; 20 Grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Teddy’s life will be held at 2PM Saturday, January 23, 2021 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, Ga with Rev. Larry Davis officiating.
