He was a faithful member of Fairview Baptist Church in Stockbridge, GA. Wade retired as a real-estate agent. He loved his family and was an avid Camper and fisherman. Wade also loved working in his yard and had an impressive green thumb.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elton Wade Shuman, Sr., and Anna Jean Shuman-Weldon; his wife of 48 years, Peggy Frost Shuman, and his wife of 17 years, Gail Garing Shuman; and a brother, Mark Shuman. Wade is survived by two sons: Alan Shuman (Julie) of Statham and Michael Shuman (Vanessa) of Rockmart; a daughter, Vicki Clements (Carl) of Sharpsburg; a brother, David Shuman (Sherry) of Gratis; 9 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Wade’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, June 26, 2022 in the chapel of Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
